Erie Chamber and Growth Partnership Release Garner Report

Today the Erie Chamber and Growth Partnership released a report, Erie County's 21st Century Plan to Effectively Grow the Talent Pipeline, which they commissioned Garner Economics "to conduct a comprehensive workforce development delivery assessment for Erie County with actions needed to improve its current system."
The number one recommendation in the report is:
"R1: Establish a brick-and-mortar public community college to build a workforce to support Erie County’s economic growth. The community college will have a focus on state-of-the-art laboratories and skills-based programs that align with both target industry sectors and skilled trades."
